1. Cereal

Cereal that is aimed at children (Honey Waffles, Fruit Loops and Nesquik) are alot different from ones that are aimed at adults (Special K). Kids cereal have brighter colours, bold clear typography that is easy to read and have fun interesting characters. Where as adult cereals are plainer, they use more subtle colours, flowing typography and simpler cleaner lines.
2. Soap Powder

Soap Powder tends to use large, bright, bold and clear typography which draws your eye to them. The colours used on the box are blue sort of watery colours with either other bold colours to draw your eye or more subtle complimenting colours to make the layout flow.
3. Chocolate

Chocolate boxes tend to always have brown chocolaty colours included somehow, this is suggestive of the rich, milky chocolate inside. They use colours that suggest indulgence and luxuary.
4a. Biscuits

Biscuit box's are, depending on who the product is aimed at, usually covered with rich, creamy sort of colours again, like chocolates, suggesting rich delicious biscuits inside. Also they use bold, bright colours, like red and blue, to draw the attention of the customer.
4b. Sweets

Sweet box's tend to be aimed at children rather then adults to by for children. Because of this they are brightly packaged, with clear easy to read typography, fun characters and sometimes related to their favourite T.V show or movie (Harry Potter). This is to draw the attention of the child into asking for it. Colour used in these product vairey greatly, but they are always bright and colourful packaging.
5. Games

Game cases always vairey from one to another (unless they are a sequal/prequal to another game). Always thought they include a band saying what console they are for, and the colour that is associated with that console. Typography can also vairey widely ranging from clear cut easy to read bold writing to hand writing styled and old fashioned styled, it all depends on the subject and style of the game.
