You will produce:-
- A measured box with a designed surface (either wrapped, covered or printed) and labeling
- At least one poster (A3) full colour
- A folding leaflet full colour
- Essay with full referencing and bibliography presented as an A5 booklet
- Illustrations as postcards (full colour front face, to colour or black and white back): 3 postcards
1. Making a large outer box, and then putting everything in smaller individual boxes inside to simulate his paintings of large square blocks of colour.
Here i made a diagram of what i am thinking for my box.
2. For my A3 poster, I want to replicated the same images my box is based on.
Here i have copied the colours and shapes of the Rothko piece creating my own version of his work. This is only an example.
3. For my leaflet I am going to either do one that opens in the middle like this:
Where a Rothko piece has been simplified by me and then when you open in the middle to find the original piece is inside.
Or a corrugated fold one like this:
